Photographic Restoration E-mail

Over the years photographs can take a beating.

They tear, rip and crack. Images suffer as coffee and pop are spilled on them causing distracting discoloration. Chemical processes within the photograph and exposure to light can cause images to fade away.

It is important to preserve your family's memories for yourself as well as future generations.

We can take an existing photograph with severe signs of distress and create a restored copy. We never work directly on existing photographs, we create a digital copy of the original and work on that. Your original image is safe at all times.

Colorization E-mail

Early photography was black and
white . . . color just wasn't an option. A popular option of the day was to hire artists to colorize black and white portraits with paint and dyes. It had its limitations, each print had to be colored individually.

Even as color film and prints became available it was expensive and many chose the less expensive black and white alternative.

To make the transition worse, early color processes were flawed leaving the prints to quickly fade or shift colors.

We are able to take black and white images and add color them, since we work with digital images we are able to create multiple prints without colorizing them individually!

While it is difficult and does have some limitations, we are able to recover faded color images making them nearly as bright and vivid as the day they were first taken.
