The Quote

It all starts with us looking at the original photograph and providing you with a quote telling you exactly what your project will cost. You can submit a quote request via regular mail or by using our convenient Fast Quote form on the website. As part of your quote request you must describe to us in detail what you want restored.

We will need to see the original.

We will e-mail your quote to you. (We will send the quote via the postal service if you do not have an e-mail account . . . it just takes longer.) If you had sent in the original for the quote, we will hold onto the original until you either accept or reject the quote. If you reject our quote your original will be promptly returned to you. If you accept the quote we will hold onto the original until the project is complete and return it to you with your restored copy.

Payment

Once you accept the quote payment in full is required. Payment can be made using our online payment center or by sending a check through the mail. Our online payment center is managed by PayPal. A PayPal account is not required to use the payment center. Online payments may be made using a credit card or direct debit from your checking account.

Restoration Work

If you had mailed the original to us for your quote, or submitted your own high resolution image . . . we are ready to begin work. Otherwise you will need to mail the original to us, once we receive the original image we will proceed with the restoration work. At no time will any restoration work be done directly on an original.

We will complete the artwork according to the detailed quote. A low resolution proof of the final work (with the word "PROOF" embedded across the image) will be sent to you via e-mail, or regular mail if you do not have an e-mail account. You will have the opportunity to clarify anything that is not to your liking. Once the proof is approved, the final product will be delivered to you along with the original.

Time Frame

The entire process will take one to two weeks depending upon delivery methods and scope of the project. Rush service is available for a an additional fee. If a project is so extensive that the restoration process will take longer, we will make note of the additional time in the quote.
